Abstract Art

Abstract Art

Viewer discretion advised. Sorry… not sorry. This may seem to you the viewer to be the unhinged abstract art. Yeah sure, why not? I’m okay with that. This was a most creative period in my life. Post mental breakdown and finding my way back to… “What the hell was all of that anyway?” I love this work, it’s raw and don’t care about anyones opinion. It got deep… or at least deep enough for me. With my mind wondering with too many questions and no answers. All bets are off and I felt free to paint without judgment. I’m getting back to it and I am happy to do so. My life is a miracle no doubt. I guess it is safe to say I look more inward when finding inspiration. If thats possible. Where does it really come from anyway?  Social sciences is something that I think about a lot but unsure how to represent that and make it satisfying as an artist.

About Me

I started painting at a young age like every child does. I would draw every chance I could. After high school I had the typical jobs in Kenosha Wisconsin. Hostess at Bob’s Big Boy. Dreaming of a better life and leaving that town.  I knew Chicago was for me. I became a flight attendant for American Eagle in 1990 until 1999. Then I quit to find a way to make a living as an artist. I haven’t looked back since. It’s not easy but, as they say… nothing worth while is. I enjoy everything about my work.

Bidding and Pricing

Of corse every mural project is different however for the most part I price the on the length I estimate it will take me to complete the mural. I include everything in my bid. Most smaller mural projects will take me two to 5 days. After I am hired and the design is agreed on and we have a signed contract the fun begins. First day is cleaning and prepping the area. Drawing it out on the wall and painting will start. I work around the clients schedule so that is based on what hours work for you.
